The enjoyment of achieving satisfaction from establishing your own garden, comes down to having the necessary gardening supplies.

To start your garden the first essential item is a plot of soil, together with various tools, plants, seeds and fertilisers. First we turn to the primary tools of shovel, rake, fork and hoe (either push or chop hoe). Some people may prefer to use a spade, instead of the shovel, especially women, while others the use or hiring of a motorised rotory hoe. Once we have cultivated and raked the soil, we can now look at other gardening supplies.

Let us not forget the need of nutrients, because every plant needs a balance of essential elements.
